Grand Mercury Christmas Season Opening – 5th December

Kick off the holiday season with the spectacular Grand Mercury Christmas Season Opening on 5th December. The evening promises a magical experience with entertainment and festive flair:

  • Tikka Banda, a roaming 7-piece band, will perform from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
  • Beloved mascot characters Mickey & Minnie Mouse will greet guests between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
  • Nutcracker Soldiers will stand proudly beside the Christmas tree from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • Dynamic presenters Oz & Jay will host the festivities.
  • Enjoy a live performance by Sarah Bonnici and Kevin Paul alongside a Trumpet Fanfare.

Christmas Markets and Artisan Stalls

  • Christmas Artisan Market – From 5th to 24th December, discover unique gifts and handmade treasures at six stalls in the Upper Piazza.
  • Christmas Market in St Georges Road – On 13th December, the market comes alive in collaboration with St Julinas Local Council.

  • Mercury Express Train – On 8th, 20th, and 21st December, ride the festive train for free when spending €50 or more with a Scratch & Win ticket from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
  • StageCoach Singers – On 20th December, enjoy live performances at the Upper Piazza and Stairs from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
  • Roaming Father Christmas and Elves – Capture magical moments with Father Christmas and his helpers on 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st December.
